Connected to Professional Baseball
Presented by the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball
- The FWL provides players with a connection to an established professional baseball environment through its relationship with the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB). The ALPB is Major League Baseball's first Professional Partner League and has transferred 60 player contracts during the 2026 season, including 45 to MLB organizations.

The FWL is designed to help players compete, develop, and position themselves for their next opportunity in professional baseball. Participation in the FWL does not guarantee a professional contract or signing, but provides players with another opportunity to showcase their abilities and continue pursuing a professional baseball career.

The FWL experience extends beyond competition. Through player development, professional education, analytics, coaching, and the Professional Path Series, players are given the tools and experience to prepare for the demands of professional baseball both on and off the field.
